Our kitchen rebuild process Early fall, 2019, we decided that if we didn’t build a new kitchen in our home in the North Carolina mountains soon, we would lose motivation. Instead of replacing our older, smaller kitchen we decided to go for a larger room and build in the adjoining den/tv room. We would use the old kitchen area as a small sitting/tv area. Fortunately the den was even closer to the plumbing pipes and drainage running in the crawl space. What was my kitchen routine going to be? What style did I just love? How do we use the space with good efficiency?
